Gold prices in Pakistan fell again on Wednesday, extending the downward trend that began earlier this week.
Local Market Sees Fresh Decline
The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 1,200, bringing the new rate to Rs. 440,662, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs. 1,029, settling at Rs. 377,796.
Prices Already Declining on Tuesday
On Tuesday, gold prices had also slipped, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs. 1,900 to reach Rs. 441,862.
International Market Also Weakens
Globally, gold prices declined by $12 to hit $4,207 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Silver Moves in Opposite Direction
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan increased. The rate rose by Rs. 265, reaching Rs. 6,367 per tola.
