However, CDA says Bahria Town failed to transfer 306.9 kanals of amenity plots and 181.02 kanals of roads and parking. Even graveyard land remains untransferred. 2

In addition, CDA says Bahria Town did not provide compliance reports. The developer also failed to install display boards. Finally, CDA said updated satellite and drone imagery was not shared. Without these items, CDA cannot verify demarcation or security of amenity sites. 3
Consequences if Bahria Town does not comply
First, CDA may approach anti-corruption bodies such as NAB or FIA. Second, the authority can block scheme access. Third, it can suspend building plan approvals. Fourth, CDA may sell mortgaged plots to recover dues. Finally, CDA can seal offices and demolish unauthorised structures — and recover costs. The show-cause notice lists all these actions. 4

CDA has given Bahria Town a final chance for a personal hearing within the 10-day deadline. The authority says the step aims to protect public rights and stop misuse of land reserved for community facilities and open spaces. 5
